The official website of the Punjab Examination Commission for Technology-Assisted Assessment (PECTAA) faced technical issues on Thursday, leaving thousands of students across Punjab unable to access their Class 8 examination results.
According to multiple reports, the portal pectaa.edu.pk which was supposed to provide results to students province-wide is currently not accessible, causing frustration among students and parents.
The results were earlier announced by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, who stated that they would be available online through the official platform. However, many users reported that the website is either not loading or showing errors.
The outage comes shortly after the release of results, suggesting that heavy traffic may have overwhelmed the system. Students have been advised to remain patient and try accessing the website after some time.
So far, authorities have not issued an official statement regarding the issue or when the portal will be fully restored.
