Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has entered into a strategic partnership with Indus Cloud, a subsidiary of the Master Group, to roll out advanced cloud solutions powered by Huawei Cloud in Pakistan.
The collaboration marks a significant step toward expanding enterprise-grade digital infrastructure in the country, aiming to support businesses and government organizations in their digital transformation efforts.
Under the agreement, PTCL will leverage its nationwide connectivity and enterprise network, while Indus Cloud will contribute its platform expertise to deliver scalable and secure cloud services. The initiative will enable broader access to Huawei Cloud Stack solutions, offering locally hosted infrastructure aligned with regulatory and data compliance requirements.
The agreement was formalized by Asif Ahmad, Chief Business Solutions Officer at PTCL & Ufone 5G, and Rumman Arshad Dar, Chief Investment and Information Officer at Indus Cloud Limited, during a signing ceremony attended by senior representatives from both organizations.
Speaking on the occasion, Asif Ahmad highlighted the increasing demand for reliable and locally compliant cloud infrastructure as organizations across Pakistan accelerate their adoption of digital technologies. He noted that the partnership strengthens PTCL’s vision of building an integrated digital ecosystem combining connectivity, data centers, and cloud services.
Rumman Arshad Dar emphasized that PTCL’s extensive national footprint provides a strong foundation to expand Huawei Cloud capabilities, enabling organizations to adopt robust and scalable infrastructure solutions.
Industry observers say the alliance will enhance access to enterprise-grade cloud services in Pakistan, supporting innovation and growth in the country’s evolving digital economy.
