Spotify released a limited-time feature called “Party of the Year(s)” allowing users to view their entire listening history. The mobile-only experience launched May 12 as part of Spotify’s 20th anniversary celebration revealing never-before-shared data. However, the feature will only be available for six weeks according to company announcements.
Users can access the recap by searching “Spotify 20” or “Party of the year(s)” in the app or visiting spotify.com/20. The feature reveals when users joined Spotify, their first streamed song, total unique songs listened to, and all-time most-streamed artist. Furthermore, it creates a personalized playlist of users’ top 120 tracks displaying play counts for each song.
Just like Wrapped, the feature lets users share stat cards and personalized playlists with friends and on social media. Spotify designed the experience with vertical Snapchat-style slides breaking down listening history in a playful nostalgia-driven format. Meanwhile, Wrapped 2025 saw over 200 million engaged users within 24 hours representing 19% more than 2024.
Taylor Swift emerged as the most-streamed artist across all users over the last 20 years with data released. “Blinding Lights” by The Weeknd became the most-streamed song over 20 years according to Spotify statistics. Consequently, December 24, 2025 marked the biggest day for music streaming worldwide with more than 11 billion streams.
Spotify’s editorial team curated global playlists celebrating defining eras, movements, and cultural shifts from the past two decades. The Joe Rogan Experience holds the title as most-streamed podcast of all time on Spotify. Users have collectively streamed more than 1.2 trillion hours of audio since Spotify launched.
