Oppo has shared new details about the upcoming Reno 16 series in China. The Reno16 and Reno16 Pro are already open for pre-orders. Earlier, the company also revealed its design. Now, Oppo has confirmed the camera setup for both phones. The Reno16 series will feature a triple rear camera system. It will include a 200MP main camera.
In addition, the phones will carry a 50MP periscope telephoto lens. A 50MP ultrawide camera will also be part of the setup. On the front, users will get a 50MP ultrawide selfie camera. However, Oppo has not shared exact sensor details yet. The small print suggests some differences between the two models. This means the camera hardware may vary across the lineup.
Meanwhile, leaks have also revealed key specs of the Pro model. The Reno 16 Pro is expected to come with a 6.78-inch LTPO display. It may run on a Dimensity 9500s chipset. Moreover, the device is tipped to pack a 7,000mAh battery. It is also said to feature a metal frame for a premium build.
On the other hand, the standard Reno16 will likely be more compact. It is expected to offer a 6.3-inch display. It may use a Dimensity 8000-series chipset. Overall, the Reno16 series appears focused on strong cameras and performance. More official details are expected soon ahead of launch.
