Honor has quietly expanded its budget smartphone lineup with the new Honor X7e in select global markets. The device stands out primarily for its massive 7,500mAh battery, designed for users who want long-lasting performance without frequent charging.
The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra chipset and runs on Android 16 with MagicOS 10.0 on top. This combination is designed to handle everyday tasks smoothly while keeping the software experience modern and responsive.
Battery life is the biggest highlight of the Honor X7e. It packs a 7,500mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging. However, in some regions, the company has also introduced a 7,000mAh battery variant. This gives users different options based on market availability.
On the front, the smartphone features a 6.6-inch LCD. It offers HD+ resolution and supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. As a result, scrolling and basic gaming feel smoother compared to standard displays in this segment.
On the back, the Honor X7e includes a 50MP main camera paired with an auxiliary sensor. For selfies and video calls, the device comes with a 5MP front camera. The camera setup focuses on simple, everyday photography rather than advanced imaging features.
In terms of design and extra features, the phone includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for quick unlocking. It also comes with an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. Moreover, users get a 3.5mm headphone jack and a dedicated one-tap AI key for quick access to functions.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band Wi-Fi, dual SIM 4G support, GPS, and a USB 2.0 Type-C port. These features cover all basic needs for communication and daily use.
Currently, the Honor X7e is available in Malaysia. It comes in a single 6GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The price is set at MYR 899, which is around $225. Buyers can choose between Midnight Black and Sunset Orange color options.
