Behaviour Interactive is officially pulling the Chucky Chapter from Dead by Daylight. The developer confirmed that Chucky, also known as The Good Guy, will leave all storefronts on Tuesday, November 24, 2026, at 08:00 PM PKT / 11:00 AM Eastern. Consequently, players only have a month left to purchase this iconic horror villain. Furthermore, Behaviour Interactive plans to remove all associated DLC content from in-game and platform stores at that exact time.
Last Chance Sale & Playability
Fortunately, anyone who unlocks the content before the cutoff date will retain full access to him. This means Chucky will remain fully playable in regular games and 2v8 matches long after his store removal. Additionally, the developer will host a massive sale to celebrate his three years in The Fog. An official promotional post from Dead by Daylight on X announces this “Last Chance Sale” to the community. Starting Monday, October 26, the Dead by Daylight: Chucky Chapter DLC will receive a 50% discount. This price drop lowers the bundle from $4.99 to just $2.49 across all platforms.
We welcomed The Good Guy out of his box and into The Fog nearly three years ago, but it’s now time for the Chucky Chapter to leave the shelf.
On November 24, 2026, the Chapter and its associated content will be removed from in-game and first-party stores. Any content unlocked before that date will remain available to use in-game.
To celebrate his time in The Fog, the content of the Chapter will be on sale on all platforms starting on Monday, October 26, giving you a chance to unlock the Character and Cosmetics before they leave the store.

Meanwhile, players who do not buy the DLC will still interact with Chucky’s unique abilities. The development team will rename all of his exclusive perks and place them into the general perk pool for every Killer to use. For instance, the perk “Hex: Two Can Play” will become “Hex: Eye For An Eye” starting November 24.
The Good Guy Legacy
Chucky originally joined the game as the 44th Killer. Actor Brad Dourif voices the character, continuing his nearly four-decade run portraying the ruthless voodoo serial killer. The killer doll initially debuted in the Child’s Play slasher films and has starred in eight movies alongside a three-season 2021 television show. In the game, Chucky uses his diminutive stature to hide easily from Survivors. However, his slow movement speed balances this stealth advantage.
He leverages unique powers like Hidey-Ho Mode to create confusing Illusionary Footfalls from various directions. Moreover, he uses Slice & Dice to charge at a nearby Survivor with a chef’s knife. He can also Scamper under pallets and windows to quickly close the gap during intense chases. His signature perks, such as Batteries Included and Friends ’til the End, make him a highly formidable foe near generators.
Future Updates
Even though Chucky is leaving, the game continues to add exciting third-party crossovers. Earlier in October, the developers added NieR: Automata cosmetic skins for Feng Min, Yui Kimura, and The Legion. These outfits feature popular characters like 2B, A2, and Emil. Finally, Behaviour Interactive is actively developing a massive graphical rework for the entire game. The team plans to launch this visual overhaul in the latter half of 2027, which they previously revealed during their 10th-anniversary broadcast.
