Realme’s next Pro-series smartphone has surfaced in a new leak, revealing several key specifications. The device could launch as either the Realme 17 Pro or the Realme 17 Pro+.
According to a tipster on X, the upcoming phone will feature a flat 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen could also support up to 165Hz in some games. Other reported specifications include a Dimensity 7500 chipset, a 200MP main camera, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom.
The phone is also said to include an ultrawide camera with an unspecified resolution and a massive 10,000mAh battery. Meanwhile, its frame will reportedly use plastic, and the camera module design will closely resemble the one found on the Realme 16 Pro+.
Compared with the Realme 16 Pro+, the leaked specifications suggest several major changes. The new model could replace its curved display with a flat panel and its aluminum frame with plastic. Its battery would also increase significantly from 7,000mAh to 10,000mAh.
However, the chipset details make the device’s identity less clear. The Realme 16 Pro+ uses the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, while the leaked phone is expected to feature the Dimensity 7500. This could point to an upgrade over the standard Realme 16 Pro, which also has a plastic frame.
The camera setup offers another clue. The Realme 16 Pro does not include a telephoto camera, so adding a 50MP sensor with 3.5x optical zoom would be a notable improvement. However, it remains unclear whether these specifications belong to the Realme 17 Pro or the 17 Pro+.
Realme has not officially confirmed the device or its specifications. More details should clarify the phone’s identity and what upgrades the company plans for its next Pro-series lineup.
