Educational boards across Punjab have extended the registration deadline for Class 9 students for the 2026-28 academic session, providing additional time for students and schools to complete the admission process.
The decision was announced by the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen, which issued a notification revising the schedule for online registration and submission of admission forms for regular students.
Under the updated timeline, students can submit their Class 9 registration and admission forms without any late fee until June 22, 2026. The extension applies to all educational boards in Punjab, including the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore and other regional boards.
Officials said the revised schedule is intended to facilitate students and educational institutions that have not yet completed the registration process.
After June 22, students will still be able to submit their admission forms with a late fee of Rs. 600 per student. The late registration window will remain open from June 23 to July 7, 2026.
The committee has advised all schools and students to complete the registration process within the revised deadlines to avoid additional charges and potential delays.
The extension is expected to benefit thousands of students across Punjab by providing greater flexibility for admissions to the upcoming matriculation academic session.
