Chery has increased prices across its entire model lineup in Pakistan, following similar hikes by Toyota, Honda and Suzuki after a recent rise in sales tax on hybrid vehicles.
Rather than passing on the full increase immediately, the company has introduced a limited-time promotional offer that reflects only a partial rise in prices.
The Chery Tigo 7 PHEV, previously priced at Rs 9,499,000, now carries a promotional price of Rs 9,999,000. Once the offer expires, the price of the vehicle will rise further to Rs 10,949,000.
The Chery Tigo 8 PHEV has increased from Rs 11,299,000 to a promotional price of Rs 11,499,000. After the offer period ends, the price will climb to Rs 12,999,000.
Similarly, the Tigo 9 PHEV, previously priced at Rs 13,694,000, is now available at a promotional price of Rs 14,299,000. Once the offer lapses, the price will reach Rs 15,749,000.
According to the company, the promotional prices will remain in effect until July 31 and will also be available to existing customers as long as stock lasts.
While Chery has presented the new prices as a limited-time discount offer, all three vehicles remain more expensive than their previous prices despite the reduction built into the promotional rates.
