Samsung’s latest foldable phones are off to a strong start in Europe. The company has confirmed that the Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip8 have become its most pre-ordered foldable smartphones in the region.
Samsung unveiled the new Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip8 on July 22. According to the company, the new lineup has already broken its previous European pre-order record by more than 17%. Pre-orders remained open until 11:59 PM yesterday, August 6.
The Galaxy Z Fold series also posted impressive growth. Samsung said combined pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra increased by 70% compared to last year’s Galaxy Z Fold7. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 alone made up 40% of all Galaxy Z series pre-orders in Europe.
Samsung shared this update just one day after announcing that the Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip8 had already surpassed the company’s internal pre-order targets across Europe.
The new foldable phones will officially go on sale worldwide today, August 7. Buyers interested in the Galaxy Z Flip8, Galaxy Z Fold8, or Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra can also check their prices in key markets. In addition, detailed reviews of the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra are now available for those planning to purchase either device.
