Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 FE has appeared in a detailed leak, revealing most of its specifications and expected pricing. The latest information comes from the source. The Galaxy S26 FE will reportedly use Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chipset instead of the Exynos 2400. The chip is built on Samsung’s 3nm Gate-All-Around (GAA) process.
The Exynos 2500 features a 10-core CPU with a 1+7+2 layout. It also includes an Xclipse 950 GPU based on AMD’s RDNA 3 architecture with 8 work groups. Samsung is expected to pair the chipset with 8GB of RAM. Storage options will reportedly include 128GB and 256GB. There will be no increase in memory capacity this time.
The Galaxy S26 FE could also arrive with a higher price. The 128GB version is expected to cost €800 at launch. That is €50 more than the Galaxy S25 FE, which started at €750. The new FE model will keep almost the same design and dimensions as its predecessor. It will measure 7.4mm thick and weigh 193g. That is only 3g heavier than the previous model.
The phone will also carry an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Its battery capacity will remain unchanged at 4,900mAh. Charging support will include 45W wired and 15W wireless charging.
There is also speculation that Samsung could use a silicon-carbon battery. However, this detail has not been confirmed yet. The phone’s EPREL rating reportedly drops to 1,200 charge cycles from 2,000 on the S25 FE.
Despite the same battery capacity, the Galaxy S26 FE could offer better endurance. Its reported battery rating reaches 50 hours on one charge. The Galaxy S25 FE was rated for 42:37 hours. On the front, Samsung will reportedly use a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. The panel will offer a 1,080 x 2,340 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The display is expected to reach 1,200 nits of typical brightness. Its high brightness mode could push that figure to 1,900 nits. A 12MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 fixed-focus lens will sit on the front. The rear camera setup will mostly carry over from the previous model. It will include a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and an 8MP telephoto camera. The telephoto lens will offer 3x optical zoom with an f/2.4 aperture. The ultra-wide camera will get a new 12MP sensor, replacing the previous 12MP sensor.
Samsung could also bring a major video upgrade to the main camera. The Galaxy S26 FE is expected to support 8K video at 30fps. The S25 FE supported video recording up to 4K at 60fps. Other reported features include a dual-SIM tray and no microSD card slot. The phone will also support one or two eSIM modules, Wi-Fi 6 (ax), Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC.
Samsung has not yet confirmed the Galaxy S26 FE launch date. However, the Galaxy S25 FE was unveiled in September. That makes a September launch for the new model a reasonable possibility.
