Apple’s latest iOS 27 beta has revealed references to six upcoming iPhone models. The code appears in system files linked to battery drivers and battery intelligence features. The fifth developer beta, released yesterday, lists several model names that Apple has not announced yet. These include the iPhone Air 2, iPhone 18 Pro, and iPhone 18 Pro Max.
The code also mentions the iPhone 18, iPhone Ultra, and iPhone 18e. Their internal codenames are V62, V63, V64, V67, V68, and V69, respectively. These codenames match details from earlier leaks and reports. However, the references do not provide specifications or other information about the upcoming devices.
Still, the discovery offers one of the clearest signs yet that these models are in development. Earlier iOS 27 betas also pointed to foldable displays and multiple batteries.
Both features are expected to be part of the rumored iPhone Ultra. Apple is expected to introduce the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and iPhone Ultra in September.
The iPhone 18, iPhone 18e, and iPhone Air 2 are reportedly planned for early 2027. Apple has not officially confirmed any of these models or their launch plans.
