Poco may soon add another model to its X8 lineup, according to a new leak. The series currently includes the X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max. A standard X8 model is also rumored to be in development.
The latest leak points to a Poco X8 Power variant with a massive 10,000mAh battery. A tipster has shared the phone’s alleged specifications. The details also suggest it could be a rebranded Redmi Note 17 Pro Max.
The Poco X8 Power is tipped to feature a 6.83-inch AMOLED display. The screen could offer a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. Gorilla Glass Victus 2 is also said to protect the panel.
The phone may also carry an IP69 rating for added protection against dust and water. Despite its large battery, the device is tipped to measure 8.68mm in thickness. That could make it relatively slim for a phone with a 10,000mAh cell.
Powering the Poco X8 Power is reportedly the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset. It could be paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. Poco may also offer four years of OS updates and six years of security updates.
On the camera side, the phone is expected to feature a 50MP primary rear camera. An 8MP ultrawide camera could sit alongside it. For selfies, the device is tipped to use a 32MP front-facing camera.
The Poco X8 Power could arrive soon if the leaked details are accurate. Its launch timing remains unclear for now. More details should surface as Poco gets closer to introducing the device.
