Edversity, a technology education and workforce development company, announced a strategic investment from Rapidev Group. The deal was revealed on September 1, 2026, during LEAP 2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It marks a new phase of growth for the Pakistan-founded startup.
The investment brings Edversity into the Rapidev Group of Companies. This combines Edversity’s education and talent ecosystem with Rapidev’s technology, engineering, and international scaling capabilities. As a result, the funding will support Edversity’s international expansion and its AI-powered learning infrastructure.
Founded in 2021, Edversity has trained more than 12,500 learners to date. Its programs span artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud computing, data, and blockchain. The company’s model blends industry-led instruction, practical projects, mentorship, and career development. Notably, Edversity reported placement outcomes above 70% across selected cohorts.
“We have spent the last few years proving that there is a significant gap between how people learn technology skills and what employers actually need,” said Saad Siddiqui, Founder and CEO of Edversity. “We are building Edversity around that missing link, connecting learning, practical experience, verified skills and employment. Rapidev gives us the technology, operational strength and international reach to pursue that vision at a much larger scale.”
Saudi Arabia will play a central role in this expansion. Edversity has established a presence in Riyadh through The Garage, a startup hub within the Kingdom’s growing technology ecosystem. This move aligns closely with Saudi Vision 2030 and its focus on future-ready skills. The company plans to use Saudi Arabia as a regional base before entering additional international markets.
“Our ambition is much bigger than becoming another online education company,” Siddiqui added. “We want to build infrastructure that helps people understand what they need to learn, develop those capabilities, prove what they can do and access opportunities based on their skills. We started in Pakistan,
Saudi Arabia is becoming an important international base for us, and our long-term opportunity is global.”
Rapidev Group brings considerable resources to the partnership. Founded in 2017, it includes more than 200 engineers and developers. The group has completed over 50 major projects and serves customers across more than ten countries. Wajid Gulistan, Founder and Group CEO of Rapidev, said the technology industry needs people who can translate knowledge into real capability, which Edversity’s model directly addresses.
According to the World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs Report 2025, 63% of employers identify skills gaps as a major barrier to business transformation. Because employers increasingly want proof that candidates can apply skills in practice, Edversity focuses on connecting learning with verified skills and employment.
