Samsung has expanded its One UI 9 beta program to 10 additional Galaxy devices, widening access to its upcoming Android 17-based software update. The expansion follows the earlier beta rollout for the Galaxy S25 series, excluding the Galaxy S25 Edge, and the Galaxy S24 lineup.
The newly supported devices include the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7, Galaxy Z Fold6, Galaxy Z Flip6, Galaxy A57, and Galaxy A56. Samsung has also added the Galaxy S24 FE, bringing the total number of newly supported devices to 10.
The Galaxy S24 FE was initially left out of the One UI 9 beta rollout. However, its inclusion now allows more Galaxy users to test the new software before Samsung begins releasing the stable version.
One UI 9.0 does not introduce a major set of groundbreaking changes compared to previous releases. Still, the update includes several new features and improvements that refine the overall software experience for supported Galaxy smartphones.
Users with eligible devices can join the One UI 9 Beta program through the Samsung Members app. After enrolling, they can open Settings > Software update to check whether the beta update is available for download.
The wider rollout suggests Samsung is continuing to test One UI 9 across more devices before the stable release. Beta users will be able to try the Android 17-based software early and experience its new features before the public rollout begins.
