The vivo S2 FE will launch on October 6 alongside the vivo V80. The launch date has now been confirmed by a well-known source. A recent rumor pointed to an October 6 launch for the S2 FE. Vivo has not officially announced the phone yet. However, has published a promotional page for the smartphone.
The page also gives us our first look at the vivo S2 FE. It shows the phone with a green rear panel and a camera island. The island houses two cameras. The source also confirms that the S2 FE will be “powered by OriginOS.” However, the retailer has not revealed the software version. It is expected to run OriginOS 6.
That would make sense because the Vivo V80 is expected to be the first Vivo phone outside China. It will reportedly launch with OriginOS 7. According to current rumors, the vivo S2 FE will feature a 50MP primary camera. A 32MP sensor is expected to handle selfies. The phone could also offer several other notable specifications.
The S2 FE is rumored to feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display. It could be powered by the Dimensity 7300e chipset. An in-display fingerprint scanner is also expected. The phone may pack a large 10,000mAh battery. Its expected price is below INR 40,000. vivo has yet to confirm these specifications or the pricing.
Meanwhile, Vivo has already confirmed several details about the V80. The phone will feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K 144Hz OLED display. It will also include four ZESS-tuned cameras. The V80 will be powered by a 7,200mAh battery with support for 90W charging. More details about both phones should be revealed closer to the October 6 launch.
