The OnePlus Ace 7 has appeared in a new leak, offering more details about the phone’s expected hardware. The latest information comes months after its specifications were first reported in May. According to a tipster on X, the OnePlus Ace 7 could use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The phone may also include a built-in active cooling fan to help manage heat during demanding tasks.
The device is expected to feature a 6.78-inch flat LTPS OLED display. It could offer a “1.5K” resolution and a 185Hz refresh rate, which would make it suited for gaming and other fast-moving content. Photography could also be a major focus for the Ace 7. The leaked specifications include a 200MP main camera and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera.
The telephoto camera is said to offer 3.5x optical zoom and use Samsung’s ISOCELL JN5 sensor. On the front, the phone could feature a 16MP selfie camera. OnePlus may also give the Ace 7 a large 9,000mAh battery. The battery is reportedly set to support 100W wired charging, which should help reduce charging times.
The leak also mentions some form of water resistance, although its exact rating has not been revealed. OnePlus has yet to officially confirm these specifications. The Ace series is usually released outside China under the R series branding. If that pattern continues, the Ace 7 could launch in India as the OnePlus 16R.
That would make it the potential successor to the OnePlus 15R, which was released last year. However, the reported specifications remain unconfirmed until OnePlus shares official details.
