Samsung has raised the US prices of several Galaxy A series phones. The increase affects its entry-level and mid-range models. The company had already increased prices for its high-end devices last week. Those price changes also affected markets in Europe and India.
Now, the Galaxy A17, A27, A37, and A57 have received higher US prices. The Galaxy A17 now costs $270, up from its $200 launch price. The Galaxy A27 has also become more expensive. It now sells for $380, compared with $350 when it was released.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy A37 now costs $490 in the US. That is $40 more than its previous price of $450. The Galaxy A57 has seen another $50 increase. It now carries a $600 price tag, compared with $550 at launch.
However, the A57’s launch price was already higher than its predecessor. The previous model started at $500, making the latest increase more notable. With the latest change, the Galaxy A57 now sits at a price point once associated with Samsung’s FE models. Those models offered higher-end features at a lower price.
These are Samsung’s official recommended retail prices in the US. Actual prices may vary, as retailers are expected to offer discounts and other deals.
