Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal will provide scholarships to 50 deserving students of FATA University, with a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to be signed shortly to formalize the arrangement.
The agreement in principle was reached during a meeting between Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Director Dr. Lal Badshah and FATA University Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Mohsin Nawaz, held when Dr. Badshah visited the university.
Both sides discussed academic needs, financial assistance, and steps to promote higher education. Administrative officers of the two institutions attended the meeting, along with Agriculture University Peshawar Director Sports Muhammad Bilal Marwat.
Speaking at the meeting, Prof. Dr. Mohsin Nawaz said financial hardship should not stand in the way of any deserving student. He said the university administration remains committed to providing quality education, improving facilities, and resolving academic issues.
He welcomed the initiative and expressed hope that the scholarships would help students meet their education costs and pursue higher studies without financial stress.
