Telltale Games is taking players back to Fabletown. Fans of the iconic 2013 mystery game can finally experience the story in a whole new light. The studio officially confirmed that The Wolf Among Us Remastered will launch in just two days on October 29, 2026. This enhanced edition packages all five original episodes with significant gameplay and visual improvements.
Massive Visual Upgrades & Deleted Scenes
The developers did not just upscale the old graphics. Instead, they completely rebuilt every character from scratch into high-resolution models. Furthermore, the remaster features improved lighting, fine-tuned animations, and upgraded environments. The protagonist, Bigby Wolf, also received a terrifying visual redesign for his werewolf form.
Additionally, Telltale Games added a brand-new Noir Mode. This feature allows players to experience the entire interactive thriller in black-and-white. You can toggle seamlessly between the standard look and Noir Mode at any time during your playthrough.
Moreover, the studio restored playable deleted scenes that never made it into the original 2013 release. Fans will also gain access to rich behind-the-scenes content. This extra material includes developer commentary, early concept art, and team interviews.

The Wolf Among Us Remastered hits modern hardware this Thursday. Players can purchase the game on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.

However, Nintendo Switch owners must wait a bit longer. Telltale Games confirmed a Switch version is currently in development. Sadly, the studio recently delayed this specific port and has not provided a new release window yet.
The Wait For The Wolf Among Us 2
Meanwhile, this remaster serves as the perfect primer for the highly anticipated sequel. Telltale Games faced severe development hurdles over the past decade. The studio suffered massive layoffs in both 2018 and 2023. These setbacks caused many fans to lose hope entirely.
Fortunately, Telltale Games resurrected the project. The studio debuted a new trailer for The Wolf Among Us 2 at Summer Game Fest in June 2026. They also locked in a release window for 2027. While details remain scarce, players expect to see more of the sequel during The Game Awards on December 10, 2026.
