Phantom Blade Zero launches in just two days on October 29, 2026. However, the highly anticipated action-RPG has already achieved a massive milestone. The game just claimed the number two spot on Steam’s Global Top Sellers list. Chinese studio S-Game is developing and publishing this Wuxia-inspired title. It seamlessly blends third-person action combat with Soulslike and Metroidvania level design.

Massive Steam Sales & Revenue
Currently, Phantom Blade Zero is leading the “Top Currently Global Selling Steam Games” list on Steam. Consequently, the game is outselling massive industry heavyweights. These include Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 and Cyberpunk 2077, which recently enjoyed a massive sales spike from its free 2.5 update. Furthermore, it sits comfortably above popular free-to-play titles like Dota 2, Counter-Strike 2, AION 2, and PUBG Battlegrounds.

Official sales figures remain unconfirmed by the developer. However, Alinea Analytics provided an impressive estimate. The firm reports that the game sold over 500,000 copies on Steam alone by October 21. As a result, S-Game has already generated approximately $24 million in revenue. Additionally, pre-launch signals indicate the game is performing very well on PlayStation 5.
Stellar Reviews & Reception
This massive sales surge follows the lifting of the official review embargo. Critics absolutely love Phantom Blade Zero. On OpenCritic, the game boasts a Top Critic Average of 91. Moreover, it holds a perfect 100% critic recommendation score. Therefore, it currently ranks as the fifth highest-rated game of 2026 on the aggregate platform.
GameRant’s Nick Rodriguez awarded the title a 9/10 score in his official review. He called the action-RPG a definitive leap forward for S-Game. Furthermore, he labeled it a must-play experience for any fan of the action genre.
