The Infinix Note 70 Pro has appeared on Geekbench with a Qualcomm chipset that does not match the specifications of existing Snapdragon 7s processors. The listing suggests the phone could feature a new chip or an upgraded version of the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4.
Earlier this month, the Note 70 Pro appeared in a certification database. A previous DevCheck listing for its X6766 model number also pointed to the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. However, the latest benchmark results raise questions about that processor choice.
The Geekbench listing identifies the chipset as Qualcomm SM7635, with one CPU core clocked at 2.96GHz, three at 2.71GHz, and four at 2.02GHz. It also lists an Adreno 810 GPU, 8GB of RAM, and Android 17. The phone scored 1,145 points in the single-core test and 3,523 in the multi-core test.

Although SM7635 is associated with both the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 and Gen 4, neither processor matches these clock speeds. The Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 reaches 2.7GHz, 2.4GHz, and 1.8GHz across its three CPU clusters. Meanwhile, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 does not feature the Adreno 810 GPU.
This leaves two possibilities. Infinix could be testing a new processor, potentially the Snapdragon 7s Gen 5, or using an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. The benchmark alone does not confirm which explanation is correct.
Either way, the Note 70 Pro could deliver a performance upgrade over the Infinix Note 60 Pro, which uses the standard Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. Its battery may not be the only major improvement, although other specifications remain unconfirmed.
The Android 17 listing is another detail worth noting. If accurate, the Note 70 Pro could ship with Android 17 out of the box, giving it an advantage over some competing phones that launch with older software.
