November PS Plus Lineup & Departures
Meanwhile, Sony continues delivering a stacked lineup of gaming content for November 2026. On November 3, the publisher officially released three monthly games for the Essential tier. Consequently, fans can currently download Dead Island 2, Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered, and Monster Train 2. Additionally, Sony quietly added the PS5 version of Metro Redux to the Premium tier. Interestingly, owners of the older PS4 version can download this next-gen upgrade entirely for free.
Looking ahead, Sony will reveal the new Extra and Premium tier games on November 11. Each month, the company updates the Game Catalog and Classics Catalog with recent hits and retro titles. However, several massive titles are leaving the service this month. Specifically, Sony is removing both Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA 5 ahead of the highly anticipated GTA 6 launch.
A Massive Month for PS5 Releases
Overall, November 2026 kicks off the holiday season with a massive bang for PlayStation 5 users. First, Grand Theft Auto 6 officially launches on November 19. Analysts project the game will earn billions of dollars for Rockstar. Previously, the blockbuster won “Most Anticipated Game” at The Game Awards two years in a row.
Moreover, the PS5 welcomes multiple classic remasters this month. For instance, Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered recently debuted on the console. Furthermore, fans eagerly await the upcoming launch of Shrek 2: Remastered. Ultimately, PlayStation 5 owners have a wealth of major new releases to enjoy throughout the month.
