Curved Monitor

Imagine you complete a tough work-from-home shift and want to relax by gaming with your friends, having the Corsair Xeneon Flex allows you to bend your screen, converting it into a more immersive and gaming-friendly screen. This screen bend is effortless and requires a simple pull and push, making the screen great for both work and play.

According to Corsair, the screen can even fold in half without taking any damage, now that’s something impressive. But is Xeneon Flex the first of its kind? Well no, a year back, LG came up with a similar technology that it released as a prototype at the CES 2021. The screen measured 48-inches and had a flexible O-LED panel that switched between a flat screen and a gentle curve by the push of a button.

The LG prototype, because of its button technology, included several motors which allowed the screen to be curved and flatted. However effective, these motors added costs and were susceptible to breaking. Corsair in its Xeneon Flex has no motors, the OLED panel in the monitor is curved and flattened with the help of pop-out handles placed on both sides of the monitor.

When curving the screen, all you need to do is grab those pop-out handles and give them a gentle pull, when flattening the screen, just do the opposite. Offering amazing functionality, these handles also allow you to curve just how much you would like it to be on each side.

Getting into features one would immediately notice the large size and amazing aspect ratio that Xeneon Flex offers. Alongside its 45 OLED panel and 21:9 aspect ratio, it has 3,440×1440 pixels with a refresh rate of up to 240Hz! Exceptional by every standard, the Xeneon Flex has a 1,000 nit’s peak brightness and features connectivity displays both at the back and front.

Corsair has promised that more details such as the release date and price of the Xeneon Flex will be public before the end of 2022.
