Apple expects its holiday quarter to deliver the highest revenue in the company’s history, despite supply chain challenges and rising component costs. During its November 2 earnings call, CFO Kevan Parekh said the company expects fiscal Q4 2026, ending in September, to set a new revenue record. The outlook follows Apple’s record-breaking Q3 2026 results.
However, several challenges could affect Apple’s performance. The company said unpredictable economic conditions and currency exchange rates remain major concerns. Rising RAM prices and supply chain restrictions could also put pressure on profit margins.
Strong demand for Mac, iPad, and the new iPhone Duo has also created unexpected pressure on inventory. Apple said demand exceeded its expectations, leaving some products in short supply. These shortages could limit sales through December, despite strong customer interest.
For the holiday quarter, Apple expects revenue between $153.82 billion and $158.13 billion. This represents an increase of approximately $10 billion to $14.4 billion compared with the same period last year.
Services revenue is also expected to grow by 8% to 9%, providing another boost to the company’s overall performance. Meanwhile, Apple forecasts a gross margin between 45% and 46%.
The company expects operating expenses to range from $20.4 billion to $20.8 billion during the quarter. Despite supply constraints and higher costs, Apple’s latest forecast points to another strong period for its business.
