PML-N Senator Afnan Ullah Khan has said that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto should direct his concerns over internet suspension in AJK to the local government, where the PPP itself holds power.
Speaking to the media, Afnan Ullah Khan noted that while Bilawal Bhutto remains a respected political leader, he should raise the matter with the Prime Minister of AJK rather than criticizing other parties.
He added that any questions regarding the restoration of internet services in the region should be addressed to the AJK administration, which is currently led by the PPP.
The remarks came after Bilawal Bhutto, while addressing an election rally in Kotli, proposed the formation of a Truth Commission to investigate recent unrest in AJK and called on the federal government to restore internet services ahead of the July 27 elections.
He described the upcoming polls as the most important in the history of the region, adding that the large number of ticket aspirants within the PPP reflected the popularity of the party.
