During the ongoing CES 2017, ASUS claims to have launched the World’s lightest, a 14-incher business laptop.

The newly launched ASUSPro B9440 that weighs 2.31 pounds has a full-HD display and is powered by high end, 7th-Generation Intel Core i5 or Core i7 processors, with up to 16GB of RAM and as much as 512GB of SSD storage. The laptop is about 12.6 inches wide and has USB 2.0 along with Type-C ports for connectivity purposes.

The Pro B9440 has been made light because of the magnesium alloy of which it has been made. The used magnesium alloy is more lighter and durable. ASUS has also fitted a 14-inch display into the chassis of a 13-inch laptop all owing to very thin bezels. The laptop has a full-HD display and a beautiful looking tilted keyboard.

The laptop also has been tested for rigorous conditions. The device has passed MIL-STD 810 G standards and can stand extra-high dropping. The device was also put to 50,000-cycle hinge, lid pressure, and keyboard spill resistance tests.

The said laptop will start shipping to worldwide markets in later in May this year, with a price tag starting from $999.
