Meanwhile, the Rawalpindi district administration also confirmed all public, private, and goods transport remain fully operational, rejecting reports of closures or restrictions across the district.
Officials stated that transport services are permitted throughout Rawalpindi, with passenger and freight movement continuing routinely, ensuring uninterrupted operations across all major routes.
The administration announced that any future developments regarding transport operations will be promptly communicated, maintaining transparency and clarity for commuters and transport service providers.
Islamabad Police also announced that all intercity transport services remain operational, rejecting reports of bus terminal closures and confirming routine travel continues across the capital.
Officials clarified that bus terminals and intercity public transport are functioning normally, and any future changes regarding closures will be communicated in advance to the public.
Authorities advised commuters to follow Islamabad Traffic Police WhatsApp channel, social media pages, and ITP FM 92.4 for verified updates on traffic and transport conditions.
