OPPO has officially launched its Reno16 Series in Pakistan, introducing the Reno16 and Reno16 F alongside the new OPPO Bubble companion device. The latest lineup combines creator-focused cameras, AI-powered editing tools, distinctive design elements, and high-capacity batteries.
The launch also included the Renoverse experience in Lahore, where leading lifestyle and content creators got an early look at the new devices and tested their photography and creative features.
Reno16 Introduces Floating Planet Design
The Reno16 Series features a distinctive Pop White edition with a floating planet effect on the rear panel. OPPO says the visual is created using its HoloVerse 3D Technology, which uses millions of micro lenses beneath the glass to create a shifting nebula-style appearance as the phone moves.
The Reno16 also features a one-piece cold-sculpted rear design that flows into the camera module without visible seams. The Reno16 has a 6.32-inch display and an aerospace-grade aluminum frame, while the Reno16 F features a larger 6.57-inch display.
Both models are available in Pop White and Twilight Violet.
Quad 50MP Camera Setup for Creators
OPPO has positioned the Reno16 Series as a smartphone lineup designed for content creators.
The phones feature a 50MP Ultra Wide Selfie Camera with a 100-degree field of view, allowing users to capture wider group selfies. The rear camera system combines a high-resolution main camera with OIS, a 3.5x telephoto portrait lens, and an ultra-wide camera.
The new Pop Cam feature provides creative shooting options directly within the Camera app. Users can apply styles inspired by Digicam, Instant Film, and Light Leak photography with a single tap.
For video recording, the Reno16 Series includes 4K Auto Straighten Video and Dual View Video 2.0, allowing users to switch between lenses while recording.
AI-Powered Creative Editing
The Reno16 Series also introduces a new Create hub in the Photos app, bringing together AI-powered editing features.
AI Remix Collage allows users to combine photos and short videos into layered compositions featuring animated stickers, outlines, and text. Users can also extract moving subjects from Motion Photos or videos and turn them into stickers.
Meanwhile, Popout Collage 2.0 allows subjects to extend beyond the frame in multiple directions, providing additional creative options for photo editing.
ColorOS 16 and AI Features
The Reno16 Series runs on ColorOS 16, which includes several AI-powered features.
These include AI Mind Space for organizing information on the device and AI Menu Translation, which can help users understand foreign-language menus.
The series also introduces AI Mind Pilot, which coordinates multiple AI models to provide more context-aware assistance.
Large Batteries and Fast Charging
The Reno16 is equipped with a 6,700mAh battery, while the Reno16 F comes with a larger 7,000mAh battery.
Both smartphones support 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging.
The Reno16 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 Mobile Platform and includes AI LinkBoost 4.0 for improved connectivity in crowded environments.
The Reno16 Series also offers IP68, IP69, and IP69K protection against water and dust.
OPPO Bubble Adds a New Camera Experience
Alongside the smartphones, OPPO has launched OPPO Bubble, a 35-gram magnetic companion designed to work with compatible cases or rings.
The device can act as a live monitor for the phone’s rear camera, helping users frame photos and videos without relying on the phone’s main display.
It can also function as a remote viewfinder and shutter button from up to 10 meters away. Through its dedicated app, users can personalize the Bubble display with photos, animations, text, and colors.
OPPO Pakistan also organized the Reno16 Coffee Party in Lahore as part of the Reno16 launch.
The event featured the Renoverse, an immersive showcase built around the Reno16 Series and OPPO Bubble. Content creators were able to test the phones’ ultra-wide selfie camera, Pop Cam filters, and OPPO Bubble’s live framing capabilities.
Pre-Orders Open in Pakistan
The OPPO Reno16 Series and OPPO Bubble are now officially launched in Pakistan, with pre-orders starting today.
The first sale is scheduled for September 5. The Reno16 and Reno16 F will be available in Pop White and Twilight Violet.
With its distinctive floating-planet design, creator-focused camera features, AI editing tools, large batteries, and the new OPPO Bubble companion, the Reno16 Series represents OPPO’s latest push to combine smartphone design with content creation.
