The d|Bootcamp is coming with a mission to turn our society into a digital democracy and grant access of governmental, budget, and civic data to journalists, civic activists, developers and designers to enhance public discussions that are not only analytic but also evidence based. To maximize the utility of this training, participants will work in multidisciplinary teams to develop, design and pitch data-driven story and app ideas around issues like public spending, health, education etc. The teams with the most innovative use of data in their story / app proposal will win a cash prize to develop their story or build out their proposed app toward piloting practical projects.
