The government of Punjab has extended the application deadline for the CM Punjab Laptop Scheme Phase II, offering students additional time to benefit from the initiative.
According to an official update, the last date to apply for the program has been extended to April 20, 2026. Students can submit their applications through the official online portal.
The extension is aimed at facilitating a larger number of eligible students who may have been unable to complete their applications within the previous deadline. The scheme is part of the provincial government’s efforts to promote digital learning and provide academic support through access to modern technology.
Separately, Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and States and Frontier Regions, Amir Muqam, underscored the importance of technology in education while addressing a laptop distribution ceremony at Bacha Khan University.
He stated that thousands of students have already benefited from the Prime Minister’s Youth Laptop Scheme, describing it as a key initiative for strengthening the education sector. During the ceremony, more than 200 laptops were distributed among students as part of ongoing efforts to enhance access to digital resources.
The government continues to prioritize initiatives that bridge the digital divide and support students in meeting modern educational challenges.
