Dell XPS 13 White

Dell revealed its next version of XPS 13 Ultrabook. Dell posted a few pictures of its upcoming XPS 13 in white and it looks stunning.

The upcoming XPS 13 is a very thin laptop. The screen is nearly bezel-less and it looks beautiful. Dell calls it the Infinity Edge display. There are some other changes on the laptop as well. It now comes with 3 USB-C ports instead of USB 3.0 ports, the SD card reader has been replaced by a Micro SD card slot.

The position of web camera is also changed. It is now located at the center of the bottom bezel and it is still a better place than the bottom right of the screen, where the last year’s model’s camera was. Moreover, there could be 2 camera lenses now which means that the new XPS 13 will support Windows Hello which was still missing from the previous XPS models. The palm rest of the new XPS 13 is made up of woven glass fiber material. The new XPS 13 will come with Intel 8th generation processor.

The pictures also show some dongles placed beside the laptop. It could be a USB C to USB 3.0 converter. The laptop will also come with a 3.5mm audio jack which means that you’ll not need any dongle for your headphones to work. There also seem to be a power port on the left side of the laptop which means that it will not charge through USB-C port.

You can see the pictures below.

Dell will reveal more about the laptop at CES 2018. Till then we have to wait and rely on leaks to know more about the specifications.
