Faisalabad School Function Turns Violent Minor Student Shoots Teacher

FAISALABAD: A farewell party at a school in Chak 32-JB, Faisalabad, took a shocking turn when an eighth-grade student shot and injured his female teacher.

According to a police report filed under Sections 324 and 34 of the Pakistan Penal Code, Muhammad Bakhsh, the victim’s father, stated that eighth-grader Raja Aoun Saeed ordered fellow student Mirza Muhammad Dawood to shoot their class teacher, Hafza Bibi, during a farewell party.

Dawood fired the gun, hitting the teacher in the leg. She was immediately taken to Allied Hospital for treatment.

A police spokesperson confirmed that the main suspects had been arrested, and efforts were underway to apprehend an accomplice. 

Authorities are investigating the motive behind the attack and the source of the weapon. Police officials are also conducting searches to apprehend any other individuals involved.

The incident has raised serious concerns about student behavior, school security, and firearm accessibility among minors. Authorities are now focusing on strengthening security measures in educational institutions to prevent such violent occurrences in the future.
