The multiplayer experience in Forza Horizon 6 is officially named ‘Horizon Play!’. Playground Games recently shared an in-game menu screenshot on social media. Consequently, this menu displays an XP bar for level progression. Furthermore, it shows the player’s current level and account rank. Players can also spot various available game modes and custom options.
Horizon Play! brings back fan-favorite events while introducing fresh challenges. Therefore, players will find a robust mix of classic and new gameplay styles.
| Game Mode | Status | Description |
| The Eliminator | Returning | This is a battle royale-style mode. Players race from Point A to Point B. Drivers use upgraded cars while losing racers face elimination. |
| Horizon Racing | Returning | This mode features road, dirt, cross country, and street races. |
| Hide & Seek | Returning | This mode pits 1 Hider against 5 Seekers. Playground Games made this mode available at launch. |
| Horizon Drift | Returning | These are drifting championships. The driver with the highest score wins. |
| Spec Racing | New | This mode includes dirt and road racing. Everyone uses the exact same car to level the playing field. |
| Touge Showdown | New | This is a 1v1 head-to-head mode. It rotates across five preset mountain routes based on single-player versions. |
Forza Horizon 6 remains a multiplatform title. However, the game will skip the PlayStation 5 at launch. Instead, Microsoft will launch the racing title exclusively on PC and Xbox Series X/S on May 19. Ultimately, PS5 fans must wait a bit longer to experience the diverse Japanese biomes. These biomes range from Tokyo’s neon-soaked streets to winding forest roads.
