Rockstar Games has just officially kicked off its next marketing phase. The developer revealed a star-studded lineup of artists for the upcoming GTA 6 soundtrack. With the game launching in just over two months, the studio is finally ramping up its promotions. Furthermore, Rockstar released six new pieces of GTA 6 artwork. They coordinated this reveal directly across the social media accounts of various big-name musicians. Consequently, fans now have a clear picture of the musical vibe for the upcoming Grand Theft Auto.
Confirmed GTA 6 Soundtrack Artists
So far, nine major artists have officially teased their involvement in the highly anticipated game. Specifically, the newly revealed GTA 6 soundtrack artists include:
- Travis Scott
- Morgan Wallen
- Future
- Metro Boomin
- CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso
- Keith Richards
- Yung Lean
- Pink Pantheress
- Rauw Alejandro
Additionally, this new list joins a few legendary acts previously confirmed. During the recent Extended Look, Rockstar already showcased music from Depeche Mode, Phil Collins, and Def Leppard. Therefore, the complete soundtrack is already shaping up to be a massive draw for players.
Soundtrack Features or In-Game Cameos?
Currently, a big question remains. Will these musicians simply provide music, or will they actually appear inside the game? Previously, Dr. Dre made a physical cameo in GTA Online. Thus, an in-game appearance from artists like Travis Scott or Morgan Wallen is entirely possible. However, a traditional spot on the radio soundtrack seems much more likely for most of these names right now.
Ultimately, Rockstar will probably keep some secrets. The studio is unlikely to reveal every single song before the official release. Still, these early teasers prove that the biggest video game launch in history will feature an equally massive soundtrack.
