This funding supports applied research, industrial collaboration, and innovation programmes, enabling Pakistan to expand scientific capacity, encourage entrepreneurship, and integrate advanced technologies into national development priorities.
Basic education and college initiatives receive Rs26.3 billion, including Rs22 billion for Danish Schools, which provide quality education to talented children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The allocation covers teacher training, expanded enrolments, early childhood education, and digital learning, ensuring improved access to education and enhanced learning outcomes across schools and colleges.
Youth skill development under NAVTTC receives Rs7.9 billion through the Prime Minister’s Youth Skills Development Programme, designed to equip young people with modern skills aligned with contemporary economic requirements.
This programme expands vocational training, enhances employability, and provides opportunities for youth to participate effectively in the evolving economy, supporting national workforce development.
