Oppo will launch the A7 Pro Max on August 4. Before the official debut, the company has revealed more details about the phone’s camera system and durability. Earlier, Oppo confirmed that the A7 Pro Max would include a 50MP main rear camera and a 50MP selfie camera. Now, the company has also confirmed the second rear camera.
The second sensor is a 2MP depth camera. As a result, the phone does not include an ultrawide or telephoto camera. Oppo also posted a new video on Weibo to show the phone’s durability. In the video, the A7 Pro Max goes through several tough tests. One scene even shows the phone recording a rocket launch from a close distance.
The company has also confirmed that the Oppo A7 Pro Max carries an IP69K rating. This means it offers strong protection against dust and high-pressure water.
Another key feature is its huge 10,000mAh battery. It is one of the biggest batteries expected in its segment. Meanwhile, rumors suggest the Oppo A7 Pro Max will feature a 6.78-inch display. The smartphone is also expected to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset.
More official details, including pricing and availability, will be announced when Oppo launches the A7 Pro Max on August 4.
