Samsung has expanded its Android 17-based One UI 9 Beta program to the Galaxy S24 series, shortly after widening the beta to six newer Galaxy devices. The company released the beta program for the Galaxy S25 series yesterday. However, it has now unexpectedly brought the latest software to its previous flagship lineup as well.
The One UI 9 beta update is now available for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. Samsung has released the update in the US, India, and South Korea. The software package weighs around 3.6GB and carries firmware versions ending in ZZHL, EZHK, and EZHL.
Interestingly, the Galaxy S24 FE has not received access to the One UI 9 Beta program yet. Although the device is part of the Galaxy S24 lineup, Samsung currently offers the beta only for its three main flagship models.
Users in the US, India, and South Korea can join the program through the Samsung Members app. After enrolling, eligible Galaxy S24 owners can download and test Android 17-based One UI 9 before its stable release.
Samsung expanded the One UI 9 Beta program to six devices yesterday, including the Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7, Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Ultra, and Galaxy S25 FE. The quick arrival of the Galaxy S24 beta suggests Samsung is moving faster with its latest software rollout.
