Google’s search engine aims to turn into employment engine

Looking out for jobs online is never been an easy task, but this is all going to change now as Google is bringing the new update to its search engine, trying to turn it into employment engine, which will allow users and job hunters to easy view jobs available online.

According to the Google, the main purpose of this initiative is to streamline job posting sites by eliminating duplicate and malicious jobs openings on different sites.

For this project to work effectively Google has teamed up with many other tech companies which include LinkedIn, Monster, WayUp, DirectEmployers, CareerBuilder, Glassdoor, and Facebook. Moreover, one can see reviews and ratings of the employer from trusted sites, right alongside the job description.

The company said in a blog post, “Looking for jobs is a personal and complex journey, and that is why Google is trying to support job seekers with this new search experience.” The blog further reads, “We’ll continue to add additional filters and information in the future to caters the need of job hunters.

The company announced this initiative at its I/O conference.

Moving forward, the tech company has also launched its most speculated new TensorFlow object detection API, allowing developers to use the same technology; Google uses for its own personal operations like image search and street number identification in street view.

In addition to above-mentioned updates, Online video platform YouTube, owned by Google, has also issued a statement regarding how to curb and filter out malicious and extremist content from its platform.
