Newly enrolled students in government schools are facing delays in receiving free textbooks following the summer holidays, raising concerns among parents and potentially affecting the ongoing school enrolment campaign.
The Programme Monitoring and Implementation Unit (PMIU) has sought details of available textbooks from warehouses across the province to address the shortage. The Education Department has directed officials to submit the required information within two days.
