However, while Rockstar confirms several massive GTA 6 map regions, one iconic Florida staple remains completely absent.
The Confirmed Regions of GTA 6 Leonida Map
Rockstar promises a massive world for GTA 6. The map currently features six distinct, officially confirmed regions. Each area offers a completely different vibe for players to explore.
- Vice City: The iconic Miami-inspired metropolis returns. It features sprawling beaches and an intense nightlife scene.
- Leonida Keys: This area mimics the real-life Florida Keys. Therefore, it serves as the perfect destination for swimming and fishing.
- Grassrivers: Jason and Lucia will navigate this Everglades-inspired swampland. Expect plenty of airboating and dangerous alligator encounters.
- Port Gellhorn: This run-down industrial town stands as the remains of a collapsed tourist economy.
- Ambrosia: Players looking for a quiet escape will find farms and small towns scattered across this rural sector.
- Mount Kalaga National Forest: This lush, nature-heavy region directly contrasts Vice City. It offers rocky canyons, vast forests, and beautiful rivers.
The Missing Florida Staple: A Theme Park
Florida relies heavily on Disney World. Yet, Rockstar has not officially confirmed a Disney parody for Leonida. If the developers want a truly authentic Florida experience, this map desperately needs a theme park.
Furthermore, the franchise already planted the seeds for this parody years ago. ‘GTA: Vice City’ previously featured advertisements for “Fun World” near Escobar International Airport. These ads blatantly utilized a Disney-style font and castle imagery. Later, ‘GTA 5’ introduced “Fred’s Pictures”, a direct spoof of Walt Disney Pictures.
Meanwhile, current clues keep the speculation alive. Unverified leaks strongly suggest a theme park exists within the game. Additionally, observant fans spotted a poster for “Fred’s Pictures” in the recent GTA 6 extended trailer.
