The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has extended the registration deadline for the Law Admission Test (LAT) 2026, giving prospective law students additional time to complete their applications.
According to the Education Testing Council (ETC), the revised deadline for LAT 2026 registration is Wednesday, August 12, 2026.
The Law Admission Test will be conducted on Sunday, September 6, 2026, as previously scheduled.
Candidates planning to appear in the upcoming examination are advised to complete their registration by the revised deadline to avoid missing the opportunity to sit for the test.
The deadline extension provides an additional opportunity for applicants who were unable to complete the registration process within the original timeframe.
Candidates are also advised to regularly check official HEC and ETC updates for further information regarding roll number slips, examination centres, test-day instructions and other important announcements.
The LAT is a key requirement for admission to undergraduate law programmes at HEC-recognised institutions in Pakistan.
