Huawei Unveils Mate 70 Pro Premium Edition with Refined Specs and Competitive Pricing

Huawei has introduced the Mate 70 Pro Premium Edition, set to launch on March 5 in China. This new variant offers a balance between premium features and affordability, featuring an underclocked chipset compared to the standard Mate 70 Pro.
Huawei Mate 70 Pro Features
The 6.9-inch OLED display of the Mate 70 Premium is based on 120Hz refresh rate technology, and it adheres to the original design style. For this model, users are presented with the option of selecting from Green, Purple, White, or Black coloured options.
The Kirin 9020 chipset is present in the main Mate 70 Pro model, while the Premium Edition utilises a modified variant of this processor that operates at reduced performance levels. The device’s performance is comparable to that of mid-range smartphones, as evidenced by testing benchmarks. Despite the absence of Google services, this device offers a seamless experience on the HarmonyOS operating system and 12GB of RAM.
The camera module of this smartphone is identical to its standard counterpart, featuring three built-in cameras. These cameras include a 50MP main sensor, a 40MP ultra-wide camera, and a 48MP macro telephoto lens, which together provide a superior and diverse image capture quality.
Huawei Mate 70 Pro Price
The smartphone has a 5,500mAh battery that enables 100W wired and 80W wireless charging. The Premium Edition of the Mate 70 Pro is available at a lower cost than the base model through the price models listed below:
- 256GB storage: PKR 237,000 ($850)
- 512GB storage: PKR 257,000 ($920)
