The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced scheduled power outages in parts of Islamabad, Attock and the GSO Circle on October 3 and 4, 2026. The shutdowns are being carried out to facilitate development projects, road widening, flyover and underpass construction, installation of new 11kV feeders, and relocation of electricity infrastructure.
On October 3, several Islamabad Circle feeders will remain without power from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., while Sudhran Feeder will be affected from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Several GSO Circle feeders will also face outages from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.
On October 4, the same Islamabad Circle feeders will remain affected from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., while additional feeders will face outages from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. In Attock, Lala Zar, POF, Munirabad and Karnel Sher Khan feeders will remain without electricity during the scheduled maintenance period.
IESCO said the shutdowns are necessary to safely complete ongoing development and power infrastructure work. Consumers can check detailed schedules through IESCO’s official platforms or contact the helpline at 118.
