The Islamabad High Court is set to hear a petition seeking the closure of former prime minister Imran Khan’s account on X (formerly Twitter).
According to details, the petition has been filed requesting the court to take action against the social media account, alleging concerns that have not yet been fully disclosed publicly.
The court is expected to review the legal grounds presented in the petition and determine whether any action is warranted under existing laws governing digital platforms and online conduct.
Legal experts say the case could raise important questions freedom of expression, digital rights, and the regulation of social media accounts linked to political figures.
Further proceedings and a possible hearing date are expected to be announced soon.
