Twelve Islamabad Police personnel have been dismissed from service after they were found absent from assigned high-security duties during the visit of a foreign delegation.
The dismissed officers had been deployed at VVIP security posts but were absent without authorization during routine inspection checks. The violation led to immediate disciplinary action.
Those removed from service include Assistant Sub-Inspectors Waqar Ahmed and Abid Hussain, along with Constables Asif, Umar Muneer, Hamza, Faizan, Irfan, Ghulam Murtaza, Khurram Shahzad, Taazeem Mushtaq, Asad Islam, and Shahzad Aslam.
The dismissals were ordered after the officers were found to have abandoned their assigned security responsibilities during the high-level visit.
