Plan9’s mission statement is to instill the culture of tech entrepreneurship and achieve sustainable growth for early stage product-based ideas by providing domain-specific mentorship and investment opportunities to create commercially viable technology startups from Pakistan. Kaymu is one of Pakistan’s leading online shopping community which connects buyers and sellers. According to the partnership, Kaymu will be providing its e-commerce expertise to Plan9’s startups to consolidate its online portals alongside mentorship services as well. Last year, Shayaan Tahir of Homeshopping.pk also shared somewhat similar plan with TechJuice, when he said that he is planning to launch and ecommerce incubator for Pakistan. The incubator never saw the light of the day. but we are seeing Kaymu taking interest in a somewhat similar space to get more serious sellers on board.
