The Lahore Electric Supply Company Lahore Electric Supply Company has announced scheduled power outages in several areas on April 26 due to maintenance and repair work aimed at improving electricity distribution reliability.
According to the utility, power supply will remain suspended from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm in areas connected to Sarfaraz Grid feeders, including Yousaf Chakwal, Ijaz Textile, Unilever, Abu Bakar, Ghani Gas, Sarfaraz, Yaqoob, ARK, Nishat Chunian, Shah Taj, Mezan Beverage, Medi Gas, KRK, Golden Textile, Ravi Imran and surrounding localities.
In a separate schedule, electricity will remain suspended from 6:00 am to 10:00 am in Shadman, while outages will also take place from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm in Chunian, Ghazi Fabrics and areas connected to the Nishat Chunian consumer grid station.
Power supply will also be suspended from 6:00 am to 10:00 am in areas including Qurtaba, Rewaz Garden, Lahore Cantonment, Rehman Park, Gulshan Ravi and Bhati Gate.
Additionally, intermittent outages are expected between 4:00 pm and 10:00 pm in multiple areas, including KRK, Raiwind (new and old), Lalyani, Khuddian, Allahabad, Bhai Pheru, Chak 65, Manga Mandi, Punjab Small Industrial Area, Mandi Ahmadabad, Kanganpur, Pattoki, Chinar Bagh, Kasur (old and new), and Central Park grid station localities.
The utility said the temporary shutdowns are part of routine maintenance work designed to strengthen the power distribution network and reduce disruptions in the future.
Consumers in affected areas have been advised to make necessary arrangements during the scheduled outage hours.
