Major General (Retd) Sohail Amin has been appointed Vice Chancellor of Rawalpindi Medical University (RMU) for a four-year term.
The appointment was approved by the Governor of Punjab, who also serves as the university’s Chancellor. The Punjab Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department has issued the official notification.
According to the notification, the appointment takes effect immediately and has been made under the Rawalpindi Medical University Act 2017.
Major General (Retd) Sohail Amin will serve as Vice Chancellor for four years under the terms of the appointment.
