Maker Fest Pakistan to conduct a workshop on making comics in Lahore

Maker Fest Pakistan, a premier organization that fosters innovation in invention is going to organize a hands-on workshop on developing comics.

The workshop that is going to conducted would be of beginner’s level. And hence, will allow literally, anybody to try their hand on making comics. The workshop will work to enhance the attendees’ understanding of the technicalities of making comics.

The workshop is going to be conducted this Saturday, from 5-8 PM at Faiz Ghar, Lahore. The workshop is free and open to all.

Maker Fest Pakistan has chosen Sabir Nazar, a leading cartoonist, to drive the workshop. Sabir Nazar is a painter and an editorial cartoonist. He has got his cartoons published on the front page of the Friday Times, since 1991 Express Tribune. He has also contributed his drawings to the premier magazines including Newsweek Pakistan and the Herald and to NGOs such as HRCP Pakistan, OXFAM and UNICEF.

Maker Fest Pakistan, is the Pakistani-chapter, of the globally acclaimed event, Maker Faire, which basically is a gathering of inventors, entrepreneurs and artists. TechJuice is an exclusive Media Partner of Maker Fest Pakistan and is working closely with the management in order to sync it well with the tech community of Pakistan.
